Last week I was doing overhead welding, I was doing
a fairly good job at it, and then Mr. Pelletier told me by the end of the week
I should be doing coupons. In addition, I was sick all freakin week and I
didn’t want to miss a day. Then he had me workin on vertical, which I
absolutely hate, I was wicked pissed off because I didn’t miss a single day
because I wanted to get as much practice as I could for making coupons and then
I didn’t end up working on them.
I’ve been workin so damn hard at this vertical
shit, I still haven’t moved on, and I was pretty pissed off about the
whole thing. I just wanted to do coupons but I guess im not good enough
to do them. In addition to this I was even more pissed off because I felt
like shit all of last week and I didn’t miss one day of school because I
thought I was gonna be making and working on coupons, buuut nooooooo.
I’ve been bustin my ass to get where I am now and I just coL. I
tell ya what I was just about as frustrated as a man with no arms trying to
reach the top shelf in the grocery store. I start off really nice
and then my welds start to look like shit!!!!! Then yesterday I was
welding beads like a boss and they were lookin mint. I just
want to start making coupons but apparently Im not good enough, which is total
BS. I’ve been busting my ass to work towards making coupons I’ve filled
up like 5 pieces on both sides, and yet I couldn't run a solid bead
on vertical. Then yesterday I was
welding beads like a boss and they were lookin mint.
Then yesterday when I was about
to leave the shop and Mr. Pelletier told me tomorrow that I would be working on
my 3/8th coupon!!!!
So today I built my first coupon and the first
bead that I was about to lay I got the stick stuck almost instantly and I was
well god dang it and I unstuck the stick and threw it out of my bay and smashed
against the wall…hahaha…oops. Luckily Mr.
Pelletier didn’t see or hear what I did.
One of two things would of happened, number 1: he would have laughed his
ass off or two: yell at me and get irritated.
Then I had to grind down my little blob I made and started over and I did
fairly ok almost got stuck once or twice, but for my first time ever welding on
a coupon I think I did a pretty good job.
It was Mint.com I tell you what.

If you get to making coupons i would love some for Target brother.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what coupons are unless they for a store
ReplyDeletegood blog. maybe describe more what your version of a coupon is??
ReplyDeletethat's so cool that you like welding, Alot of my friends like to weld.
ReplyDeleteI will edit this and show a picture of the coupon
ReplyDeleteThese better not be the cheap coupons that are like "buy 10 gallons of milk and get 20% off your next gallon."
ReplyDeletewelding can be frustrating however once your good at it its like writing on paper with a pencil
ReplyDeleteIs cool that you like welding.
ReplyDeleteThanks for going into so much detail here Nick and adding this pics as well. I had a lot of questions about your welding wording because it's all Greek to me!
